I have drawn a lot of inspiration from a walk along the river near where I live, both in the form of some of the artwork I have produced and having a bit of space to think away from the studio.
Today as I was walking along the riverside footpath with my partner I spotted a plastic bottle abandoned at the side of the footpath, I picked it up along with its lid and as we proceeded on our walk we picked up other bits of litter and put it inside the bottle, which soon got full. This got me thinking about products I have made to sell that use plastic and how I package them and I have decided to look into ways to use less or no plastic in the production and packaging of my art and products.
